Description
This webinar will present findings from an implementation science study that examined how a clinic responded to the introduction of a new somatic therapy approach, Mindful Awareness in Body-oriented Therapy (MABT) in their services. Included will be the strategies used to promote knowledge of MABT, acceptance as measured by referrals and scheduling within the clinic system, and differences in response by discipline in an integrative clinic context. Focus group results highlight the successes, including how this approach addressed a gap in services, and point to next steps for increased access and sustainability.
